Book 2
From Senenmut to Yahmose and the First Exodus – Accepted for Publication
(Hopefully-November 2022)
The years of Hatshepsut and Thutmoses II’s reigns represented the high point of Egyptian power and prestigue. It heralded new weapons such as the khopesh sword and new tactics.
Yet this was the time period when Thera’s volcanic eruption spelled the death knell for the Minoan Empire, affecting the Mediterranean region’s power balance. It also forced the influx of Israelites into the southern Canaanite region later known as the Kingdom of Judah.
The novel is a contrast of intrigue and loyalty, myth and verity, faithlessness and faithfulness, failure and success. In the end, Israel’s God wins.
